We have been teaching and helping to positively influence children in the Walled Lake and surrounding areas since 1997. Today we are still considered one of the highest recommended preschools in town by the families that we have proudly served for over 20 years.
Our Philosophy
We recognize that as one of your child's first teachers, we have the opportunity to have a profound influence on both their development and their attitude towards school.
It is our goal that your child's experience at Peanut Patch will instill an enthusiasm for learning in a loving and nurturing environment.
We believe preschool is a planned environment where children are actively involved in their own learning through experiences. Each student is encouraged to work according to his/her own abilities.
History
Kathy Arnold and Arlene Wickens started Peanut Patch in 1997. With their backgrounds in Early Childhood and Elementary Education, they have helped Peanut Patch become a well established part of the Walled Lake Community.
Staff
Peanut Patch is staffed with caring and compassionate people to help your child feel as secure and loved at school as they do at home. All of our Head Teachers have college credit in Early Childhood Education and all of our staff have experience with preschool children.
